Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in London
Welcome to London! Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: London
City tour of London, including St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Bank of England, London Bridge and Tower Bridge as well as the Tower of London, the highlight of the morning. View the Crown Jewels, the Armor Collection and the remnants of the wall of the Roman fortress, built Emperor Claudius to protect the city then known then as Londinium. The balance of the day is yours to continue exploring the city. (B)

Day 3: London
During your private walking tour, in the footsteps of Oscar Wilde, one of the Victorian eras most important authors and personalities. From triumph to tragedy see the very places where his life and art unfolded. Following the tour, the balance of the day is yours. (B)

Day 4: London
Explore the Charles Dickens Museum, with its rare books, paintings, photographs and memorabilia that offer a unique insight into the life and work of the author. Within these walls, his two eldest daughters were born, his beloved sister-in-law, Mary, died and some of his best-loved novels were written, including Oliver Twist. (B)

Day 5: London
The Victorian Era is, of course, named after the reign of Queen Victoria. No exploration of the historical period would be complete without understanding the Queen and there is no better place to begin than the place of her birth, Kensington Palace where your private guide will walk you through the history of the palace and Queen Victoria’s life in a permanent exhibition (B)

Day 6: London
Visit the 170-year-old “V&A”, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the world’s largest museum of decorative arts and design. Your private guide will ensure you get an insiders view of this historic building. (B)

Day 7: Depart London
Transfer to the airport for your return flight. (B)
