The M/V Via Australis, was built in 2005. This 129 passenger ship has a capacity of 63 cabins and a crew of 40. The brand new M/V Stella Australis has a capacity for 200 passengers. Join this fascinating adventure to the southern edge of the world. You’ll be amazed by a scenic paradise of forests, glaciers and snow-capped summits as you navigate through the picturesque fjords and channels, rich with flora and fauna. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Punta Arenas | Strain of Magellan
Afternoon embarkation. After a welcome reception, the ship sets sail, through the mythical Strait of Magellan to Southern Patagonia, including Tierra de Fuego. (D)

Day 2: Ainsworth Bay | Tuckers Islets at Dawn
At dawn, continue navigating through Almirantazgo Sound until arriving near Marinelli Glacier in Ainsworth Bay. Enjoy a walk to discover a beaver dam in the middle of a marvelous Magellanic forest. On the beach, observe a colony of elephant seals. Visit Tucker Islet and view colonies of Magellanic penguins and cormorants from the zodiac boats. The islet’s penguins migrate in April; as a replacement we visit Brookes Bay, for a short walk to see a glacier. (B,L,D)

Day 3: Pia Glacier | Glacier Alley
Navigate the main part of the Beagle Channel to enter Pia Bay; disembark near the glacier. Excursion to a lookout point ideal for viewing the mountain range where the glacier originates. After this unforgettable experience, sail along the Beagle Channel through majestic “Glacier Alley.” (B,L,D)

Day 4: Cape Horn | Wulaia Bay
Sail through the Beagle Channel. Disembark in Cape Horn National Park. This mythical place known as “The End of the Earth”, where a visit is considered a privilege. In the afternoon, go ashore in historic Wulaia Bay. (B,L,D)

Day 5: Arrival at Ushuaia
Arrive in Ushuaia, the most important Argentine city in Tierra de Fuego, and the southernmost city in the world. Morning disembarkation. Time to visit the city and national parks, then continue your trip through Patagonia. (B)
