Manaus: Gateway to the Amazon by Private Car

Highlights

The Amazon Region
Welcome to the Amazon, the majestic ecological filter that helps our planet to breathe. The Amazon region did not go through the same ice age that altered other parts of our planet and, therefore, has remained intact for the last 100 million years. It is home to the oldest formation of plant life on earth; and, is one of nature’s last preserves of wildlife. The Amazon is the largest river system in the world. Its vast aquatic environment is home to many indigenous cultures still living as their ancestors did hundreds of years ago. We invite you to explore one of the most exotic, unexplored and endangered regions on our planet. It will be an unforgettable experience!
