Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in El Salvador
Arrival to El Salvador where you will be met and transferred to your hotel in San Salvador.

Day 2: San Salvador
Visit Suchitoto Town, one of El Salvador’s colonial towns. Experience an indigo workshop and learn the process of indigo as well as art techniques used on clothing. After lunch, continue to Joya de Cerèn, a UNESCO World Heritage site, buried by the ashes of Volcano Caldera back in 600 A.D. Your day ends with a visit to San Salvador Volcano. (B,L)

Day 3: San Salvador | Copán
Depart San Salvador to Copán, Honduras, a small and charming town and gateway to the Mayan Ruins of Copán, a World Heritage site. The rest of the day is yours at leisure. (B,L)

Day 4: Copán
In the morning you will visit the ruins of Copán, arguably most beautiful Mayan City. A local guide will travel with you and explain the history behind all the temples, sculptures, hieroglyphics and tunnels. (B,L)

Day 5: Copán | Antigua
Depart from your hotel and transfer to Antigua. After a late lunch, you will enjoy an Antigua City tour. (B,L)

Day 6: Antigua
Tour Lake Atitlán, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. It provides majestic scenery, impressive volcanoes, gorgeous panoramas, and hidden valleys. Afternoon boat tour to some of the indigenous villages on shores of the lake. Most of the population of the villages is Maya. (B,L)

Day 7: Antigua | Flores
Morning at leisure to enjoy the delights of Antigua on your own. After lunch, transfer to the airport for a flight to Flores, gateway to Tikal. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. (B,L)

Day 8: Flores | Tikal | Flores
Full day tour of Tikal, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll explore the main temples and plazas with your knowledgeable guide. (B,L)

Day 9: Flores | San Ignacio
Morning transfer to San Ignacio, Belize. Upon arrival, time at leisure to explore independently. (B,L)

Day 10: San Ignacio | Caracol | San Ignacio
Tour Caracol, located deep within the Chiquibul Forest Reserve and the most important Mayan site in Belize. (B,L)

Day 11: Depart Belize
Transfer to Belize International Airport for your return flight. (B)
