Day 1: Arrival in Colonia del Sacramento
Welcome to Colonia del Sacramento! Enjoy a walking tour of this charming city along the cobbled streets of the Old Town. Discover the charming buildings, forts and the Spanish and Portuguese museums.
Day 2: Colonia del Sacramento | Montevideo
Transfer to Montevideo, a vibrant, eclectic place with a rich cultural life. Visit the Old Town of Montevideo including the Matriz Cathedral, Cabildo, Solis Theater, and Independence Square. Continue along Libertador Avenue and the upscale Prado neighborhood and its Presidential House. Visit the lively Port Market for lunch.(B,L)
Day 3: Montevideo | Valizas
Morning tour to some of the best vineyards in Montevideo with wine tasting included. After lunch at one of the vineyards, continue to the small town of Valizas that has been declared a natural reserve. Enjoy dinner and stay at a small charming posada in town. (Accommodation may vary according to the season). (B,L,D)
Day 4: Valizas
After breakfast, start your unforgettable tour to Cabo Polonio. Visit the lighthouse and Sea Lions Reserve (the biggest one in the world!) Cross the dunes in a 4×4 vehicle to the beach. After lunch at a seaside restaurant, enjoy a 4×4 excursion towards the main entrance of Cabo Polonio where a private transfer will drive guests back to the Posada. (B,D)
Day 5: Valizas | Guardia del Monte
After breakfast, visit a unique forest of the ombu tree. After lunch, you have the opportunity to visit the extensive Palm Groves of Rocha. Dinner and overnight at Estancia Guardia del Monte. (B,L,D)
Day 6: Guardia Del Monte
Enjoy a gaucho experience by participating in the rural activities of the day or just bird watching. After a typical “Asado lunch” enjoy some horseback riding to explore your surroundings. (B,L,D)
Day 7: Guardia Del Monte | Punta Del Este | Montevideo
Transfer towards the exclusive area of Punta del Este to visit the charming town of Jose Ignacio with its rocky beaches and lighthouse. Later, continue to Brava Beach. After lunch, transfer back to Montevideo. Overnight at Hotel My Suites. (B,L)
Day 8: Depart Montevideo
Morning transfer to the airport for your return flight. (B)
