Day 1: Arrival in San Jose
Upon arrival meeting, assistance and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: San Jose
Morning entertaining multimedia coffee tour, depicting the journey of the world’s finest coffee from plantation to cup! In the afternoon a city tour to a variety of tourist, cultural and natural attractions, including Costa Rica’s best museums and the architectural jewel of Costa Rica, the National Theater. (B)
Day 3: San Jose | Arenal
Climb up the central volcanic mountain range in the northern lowlands of Costa Rica and tour Arenal Volcano. Then visit a famous artisan town, which is the perfect place to find those souvenirs and gifts. During the afternoon, you will visit the world-famous Tabacon Hot Springs. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Arenal
In the morning, tour a typical Costa Rican farm where you can take part in activities like milking a cow, making tortillas and gathering vegetables from the vegetable garden. Enjoy an organic lunch made with products harvested from the property and cooked on a woodstove. Then tour the Arenal Hanging Bridges, a perfect example of ecotourism, abundant with lush vegetation and a large variety of birds and animals. During the walk, discover the rainforest canopy from an unrivaled perspective. (B,L)
Day 5: La Fortuna | Guanacaste
Transfer to Guanacaste, with hundreds of unspoiled beaches full of enchantment and surprises. (B,D)
Day 6: Guanacaste
River tour of Palo Verde National Park by motorboat. Find around 12 different types of habitats, 150 species of trees and, from September to May, the largest numbers of aquatic birds in the region. After lunch, continue to Liberia, known as the White City, and tour Calle Real (Royal Street) which will take you back to colonial times, as you enjoy the opportunity to appreciate the daily life of the people, its history, its handicrafts and the nearby stores. Day 7: Guanacaste
Day at leisure for you to enjoy the beach or an optional day tour in the area, with its incredible concentration of flora, fauna and natural beauty. (B)
Day 8: Guanacaste | Departure from Liberia
Transfer to the airport for your return flight. (B)
