DAY 1
Arrival in Beijing

DAY 2
Beijing

Morning sightseeing begins at Tiananmen Square, one of the largest city squares in the world. Then continue to two UNESCO World Heritage sites. The first is the Forbidden City, the palace complex that was home to Chinese emperors for five centuries. Then in the afternoon visit the Summer Palace, a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design. (B, L)

DAY 3
Beijing

Spend the day at two more UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs. On your way to your excursion, drive by the famous “Bird’s Nest,” the National Stadium used in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Once arriving at the Great Wall, walk along this architectural masterpiece that has been one of the symbols of China for nearly 2000 years. Then proceed to the Ming Tombs, a collection of mausoleums built by the emperors of the Ming dynasty, starting in the early 15th century. (B, L)

Beijing | Xi'an

Flight to Xi’an; upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. (B)

DAY 5
Xi'an

Travel through the scenic countryside to tour another UNESCO World Heritage site, the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor with its extraordinary Terracotta army. This collection of sculptures has thousands of life-sized figures. In the afternoon, visit the Provincial Museum and stop at a 7-story pagoda that was part of the Silk Road. (B)

DAY 6
Xi'an | Shanghai

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai, China’s most cosmopolitan city. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. (B)

DAY 7
Shanghai

Morning visit to the Bund, a popular waterfront area on western bank of the Huangpu River. Then continue to the Old City of Shanghai and the Yu Yuan Garden.  (B, L)

DAY 8
Shanghai

Morning visit to the famous Shanghai Museum. The afternoon is yours to explore and relax. (B)

DAY 9
Depart Shanghai or Transfer to Guangzhou

Transfer to the airport for your return flight.

Arrive in Guangzhou, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a private tour to  Leechi Bay, Shamian Island and Qingping Market. (B)

DAY 10
Guangzhou

In the morning, tour the Zhujiang New Town area, the financial center of the city. Later, tour Chen Ancestral Hall, built during the late Qing Dynasty. Stop by Beijing Road, the city’s main shopping district. The rest of the afternoon is yours. (B)

DAY 11
Guangzhou | Hong Kong

Transfer to the train station and board a train to Hong Kong. After immigration and customs, meet and greet then private transfer your hotel. (B)

DAY 12
Hong Kong

Morning motor coach tour of Hong Kong Island. Ascend Victoria Peak, that gives you a spectacular view of the city and harbor from about 1,200 feet about the city. Stop at Stanley Market, a world famous shoppers’ paradise. Then visit a famous fishing village to see Hong Kong’s junk-dwelling “floating community” as well as a close-up view of waterborne life. (B)

DAY 13
Hong Kong | Macau

The morning is yours to enjoy the island. In the afternoon, transfer to the pier for the Turbojet ride to Macau. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. (B)

DAY 14
Macau

Morning motor coach tour of Macau’s highlights, including A-Ma Temple, Kum Iam Statue, the Ruins of St. Paul Cathedral and Senado Square. (B)

DAY 15
Macau | Departure from Hong Kong

Return to Hong Kong by the Turbojet, then transfer to the airport for your return flight (B)
