Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Phnom Penh
Arrive in Phnom Penh, and transfer to your hotel. Your afternoon city tour includes the 19th-century Royal Palace, which serves as the royal residence of the king of Cambodia as well as the Silver Pagoda, a unique pagoda which is attached to the palace complex. Continue to the Central Market, erected in Art Deco style, it was the largest market in Asia when it was constructed in 1937.

Day 2: Phnom Penh
Visit the National Museum and the Russian Market with hundreds of food stalls. Later, visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, which preserves evidence of a tragic period in Cambodian history with the aim of encouraging visitors to be messengers of peace. Continue to the Killing Fields, the notorious massacre area where many mass graves were found. (B)

Day 3: Phnom Penh | Siem Reap
Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Discover Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the symbol of Cambodia. Your sightseeing tour includes Angkor Thom, Bagon Temple, the former Royal Palace, the Terrace of Elephants. In the early evening, stop at Phnom Bakheng to watch the sunset over Angkor Wat. (B)

Day 4: Siem Reap
Start your day with a tour of the Preah Khan, a 12th-century temple city that had nearly 100,000 dedicated servants. Continue to the Banteay Srei Temple, a jewel of Khmer art because of all the intricate carvings, as well as to other unforgettable sites. (B)

Day 5: Siem Reap
Your exploration of Angkor Wat today includes Ta Prohm and Banteay Kdei Temple, both 12th/13th-century Bayon style temple. Later, a boat trip on the Tonle Sap Lake, the largest lake in Southeast Asia, and visit the Chong Kneas floating villages. (B)

Day 6: Depart Siem Reap
