BDM: Mid-West
Want to sell travel? IWorld of Travel, one of the leading Tour Operators in North America, is expanding its sales team on the ground and is looking at filling a full time position for BDM serving the Mid-West. Roles and responsibilities include:
- Track performance of agencies in assigned territory
- Respond to travel agency requests to include problem solving, service issues & follow-up activities
- Identify new agencies for business development
- Conduct webinar and training for new agencies and refresher module for existing agencies
- Brochure distribution and fulfillment for agencies in assigned territory
- Support sales & marketing efforts
- Support, manage and attend conference and tradeshow within assigned territory as needed
- Assist with new agency enrollment
- Promote FAM/Educational Seminars
- Share market intelligence (agency feedback, trends, new products, top selling destinations) with Sales Director and President
- Liaise with department manager and work towards resolution on any complaint/problem
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel
- Proven competencies to absorb all IWorld of Travel Product Line and Brands.
- Knowledge of travel industry
- Ability and willingness to exercise both strategic and tactical support for each market
- Proven competencies in computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communications
