Day 1: Arrival In Buenos Aires
Morning arrival in Buenos Aires, considered the most cosmopolitan city in South America. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Buenos Aires
Begin to tour at the Plaza de Mayo, continue to Casa Rosada (the President’s residence), Avenida 9 de Julio (the world’s widest boulevard), the Cathedral, the Tomb of General José de San Martin and other places of interest. (B)
Day 3: Buenos Aires
The day is at leisure to discover this wonderful city on your own. (B)
Day 4: Buenos Aires | El Calafate
Late morning flight to El Calafate. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel. (B)
Day 5: El Calafate
Board an exclusive MarPatag cruise to Los Glaciares National Park on the waters of Lake Argentino. This “Gourmet Glaciers Experience” is a cruise for up to 28 passengers who want to know the Spegazzini and Upsala Glaciers more intimately. It includes a four-course tasting menu presented by the chef onboard the vessel. (B)
Day 6: El Calafate
See the amazing Perito Moreno Glacier on the southern arm of Lake Argentino towering 240 feet above the lake level – it’s the world’s largest active glacier. Enjoy a cruise with spectacular views of this Ice Age relic declared by UNESCO to be a Universal Patrimony of Humanity. Return to El Calafate. (B)
Day 7: El Calafate | Iguassu
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguassu where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. (B)
Day 8: Iguassu Falls
Morning tour of the Argentine side of Iguassu Falls including the impressive Devil’s Throat Falls. The falls span two and a half miles, wider than Victoria Falls, higher than Niagara Falls and more beautiful than both. In the afternoon, board a specially built raft, which travels upstream to the “water wall” of the falls.
Day 9: Iguassu Falls | Buenos Aires
Visit the Brazilian side of the falls for a fabulous scenic walk. Afterwards, fly to Buenos Aires.
Day 10: Departure from Buenos Aires
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
